It has been reported by our Source that Udom Emmanuel has mobilized all Ibibio Elders, counting prominent figures such as Obong Victor Attah and Oku Ibom Ibibio etc to appeal to President Tinubu for intervention in Gov Umo Eno's legal challenges. The narrative suggests that Umo Eno is portrayed as a key figure for peace in Akwa Ibom State, a claim met with skepticism and in their wildest imaginations.

The intrigue deepens as Udom Emmanuel taking the back seat weaves a narrative around Umo Eno's potential defection to the APC, presenting it as a strategic move to shield him (Umo Eno) from an impending Supreme Court decision on certificate forgery allegations. This prompts the question: What role does President Tinubu play in Election Petition, judicial matters and certificate forgery? Why the sudden pressure on the President , a man they never voted for but instead received so much insults and abuses from former Gov Udom Gabriel Emmanuel and Why the false narrative of defection to APC?

Allegations of financial inducements directed towards Ibibio Elders have surfaced, our source reported that Umo Eno has generously funded this uncertainty voyage by offering each member of the team the sum of N10m to cover their logistics and honorarium for the trip to the President, while Obong Victor Attah and the Oku Ibom Ibibio, the leaders have received huge sums of money for themselves in foreign exchange, our source said.

The conditional tie to APC raises concerns, prompting reflection on the ethics of leveraging political affiliation to evade legal consequences.

"Does it mean someone can easily escape judgement just by a mere defection to the ruling party"? If the supreme Court ruled that Umo Eno's certificate are forged, would defecting to APC change the judgement"? Prof. Joseph, a public affairs analyst inquired.

We plead that they should please allow President Tinubu please concentrate in addressing pressing national economic challenges that will positively affect our living standards and alleviate the suffering Nigerians.

Gov Umo Eno based on the advice of Udom Emmanuel is pursuing the President to every foreign trip destinations, the latest being Climate Change submit COP28 in Dubai.

These questions should be asked, is President Tinubu not a member of APC? is the APC candidate not in the Supreme Court ? How about the so-called pact with the Senate President Godswill Akpabio? Why is defection to APC now on the lips of Gov Umo Eno as advised by Udom Emmanuel just to deceived the gullible? is the Judiciary now an extension of politic? The answers remain NO. What can Gov Umo Eno do when Udom Emmanuel and Obong Victor Attah has vowed that they can never play politics or be in the same political party with Senator Godswill Akpabio?
