YOU HAVE A SKILL WHAT'S NEXT?

Someone reached out to me yesterday and said "Sir I already have a skill, I learnt data analysis last year, but so far I haven't made any money with it yet, what do I do? Do I leave data analysis and learn a new skill?"

Now ...
The reality of things is that every online skill has the capacity to make you lots of money. That's the truth. But why then is it that some people who are very good at what they do, haven't made any money yet with their skill?

The answer is simple - They lack the right strategy to enhance their visibility in the eyes of the right people.

Lemme explain...
The number of the RIGHT PEOPLE who know what you can do is proportional to the amount of money you can potentially make. So your visibility in the eyes of the RIGHT PEOPLE equals your money making potential.

The right people in this context refers to people who actually want what you have to offer. So let's say I sell baby clothes for instance, the "right people" in this context will be expectant mothers and fathers.

Even if all the single friends around me know that I sell baby clothes, they are very unlikely to patronize me or even recommend me. Why?

That's simply because they have no need for what I have to offer!!!!!!!!!!

But if I position myself well and an expectant mother or father sees me and patronize my product, if my products are really good (as it should be), then the chances of them patronizing me some more and even recommending me to other expectant folks increases.

And this is true for EVERY SKILL. whether it be an online skill or a offline skill. So the more visibility you have in the eyes of the right people (people who need your product), the money money you can make.

The big question now is, how do I find the right people? How do I find people who needs what I have to offer?

Well...
Before I answer that, I would like to tell you one very hard truth that you probably have not observed. And this is it, You will get more of the right people from somewhere else other than your contact list.

In other words, the right people are rarely ever found in your contact list. Because your contact list are largely made up of family and friends!!!!!

Hold on!!! Just before you come for my head, lemme give you a scenerio.

I'm guessing you have a friend or a family member that sews clothes ba? If yes, how many times have you patronized them?or even recommended them?🙃

And in cases where you do, I'm sure you're expecting one very massive discount based on the fact that they're your friends, some of you even expect them to do it for free for you. And sometimes this discount is to their detriment!!

How about friends who bake cakes? How many times have you contracted them to bake cake for you? Would you rather not go to any of the popular fast foods and get your birthday cakes?

I hope we're getting the point here...

I don't mean to say that you can't get the right people from your contact list, but their number is too few to get you any reasonable amount of money.

So then, how do you find the right people?
