You seem not to understand that the dynamics have changed. That you could even cite Obansajo's era to buttress your point should tell you that what OBJ did cannot be re-enacted now. The political consciousness amongst Nigerians is so pervasive that any attempt to unlawfully remove Gov. Sim would be resisted.

OBJ suspended Fayose and Dariye by declaring Emergency rule in their state and subsequently appointed an administrator to govern the both states. Such cannot happen in any state in Nigeria under a democratic government. There was lots of unconstitutionality that OBJ perpetuated and went away with.

Tinubu in his desperation cannot do anything that would plunge Rivers state into crisis. He knows that it would have both economic and politic consequences.
