I should also clarify that the bigger nations than Israel like US, Brits with their coalition which included the saudis and the Emiratis have tried for YEARS to militarily destroy the Houthis and they failed woefully.

With the strikes on shipping vessels heading toward Israel, they (Houthis) have de facto somewhat blockaded some shipments to Israel. I assume this might impact on the Israeli economy and cost do shipments.

It looks more like we are nearing the end of Pax America in the world. Despite all war ships armada surrounding the middles east, they have failed to counter the Houthis and Iran.

Israel routed Syria with it's tens of SAMs and downed over 70 of their jet fighters for the loss of zero IAF jets.
They routinely bomb Syria which boasts an integrated Air defence system. Ditto Lebanon.
Houthis are just a terror group not a government force like Syrian or Lebanese army.
