But seriously, I still remember how a fake malt drink, stout, and ethanol outfit being operated by a bunch of criminally-minded and greedy gang of Ibo guys was discovered by NAFDAC and the Police in Ikorodu in 2018 due to community polocing. Some dead rats and reptiles were seen floating on the finished products, particularly inside the reservoirs.

They were producing in open blue drums in unhygienic conditions and this is one of the reasons why there's been a spike in kidney failures from the use of harmful ingredients and coloring matter in fake drinks and drugs.

It's better to get these malt, wine, and stout drinks from accredited dealers, shopping malls and department stores, instead of the open markets to avoid buying poisonous, fake products.
