Good day my people, happy Christmas in advance. This morning i recieved a letter from a lawyer to my landlord that i should quit my apartment by the expiration of my rent in july 31st because they want to start renovation on the property by 1st of march 2024 and it will be my best interest to move out by march because of the renovation and they are ready to pay back the balnace of my remaining rent.. I didnt acknowledge the letter until i see a lawyer... I just renewed my rent and my taught about quit notice is that there should be about a year notice. Right now i just want to seek opinion here if this action by the landlord is proper. Before i take necessary steps... Thank you |
