Errr... I was only speaking generally. cheesy

Like many of your comments can be made into quotes. But off the top of my head, that one you made about Nigeria being an 'imbècile', and not a developing country or something, counts.

See. I paraphrased it, though, and changed inward-looking (that's the word you used) to self-reflection.

I live my life by one mantra. Failure is better than regret and I aim to have a lot of failures in everything I do.

One of my favourite quotes of all time is the one by Vladimir Lenin, below.

There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen

You can hustle for straight twenty years and see no light, but suddenly, something just clicked and boom, you made so much money in one week that youve made in your life time.

Or being at peace with your best friend for decades and the next day he betrayed your trust, and everything you guys have built for years goes down the drain in an instant.

The above quote happens in different ways everytime, and a symbol of the everchanging nature of things.

Another one would be by James Baldwin.

ignorance, allied with power, is the most ferocious enemy justice can have."

May God help you that you are at the mercy of someone that is in a position of authority, but completely ignorant, and for that reason, punish you for something that otherwise, you should be rewarded.

An Ignorant person in a position of authority is worse than the devil. May you never encounter them.

Now this one is my favourite. I saw that is is accreditted to Joe Rogan, dont know if he actually said it.

Honest conflict has more social value than dishonest harmony”

I will rather fight with a good friend, and probably end that friendship, than to harbour grudge that will consume my peace, and makes me less of a friend to him, making him wonder what went wrong.

And I want the same from the other person. I don't want to be afraid to swallow eba in your house for fear of poisoning, because we are both pretending that everything is fine when in reality, we know that there is an unspoken conflict waiting to be solved.

Conflicts are part of relationships, but what makes conflict useful is when the two people dialogue, see the legitimate grivances of the other party, then work to resolve it, so it wont happen again, which further strengthens that union.
