Football has changed from the traditional way In which a winger can dribble, cross a ball, and score to everybody can just score a goal to earn a point, somebody might be angry with me but the truth is to compare to the way people watch the classic between 2006-2015 and 2016-till present. Most players who play presently will have a hard time getting a FIFA award cos they don't merit it. Compare the likes of players who play from the early 90s to 2007. If you look at people who won the world's best player from 2006 till date, they are players who played in the early 2000s and met a good mentor in a team.
Though the number of fans might be increasing the entertainment is long gone. Which is t the sole purpose of soccer
