Just saw this revealing picture on Facebook about the true origin of the Christmas tree and Santa (Claus), and i thought I should share here to see what NL Christians would have to say about it.

I had never seen the Christmas tree in this light before I got to see this picture but it seems to make several strong points and comparisons, to add to Santa being the anagram of Satan.

I stopped celebrating Christmas decades ago because it didn't just feel right, but overtime it seems the truth being revealed about the origin of Christmas keeps vindicating that decision.

By the way, i celebrate Christ everyday of the year by living a life totally committed to the purpose of His birth, death and resurrection, so this has nothing to do with that, just not Christmas.

Moreover celebrating Christmas doesn't make anyone a true Christian. I used to do that while I was still a sinner, buying Christmas clothes, taking Christmas haircuts, organising vain and worldly parties in the name of celebrating Christmas, just like many sinners, including the irreligious still do today.

So I've been there and done that and it makes no real difference from my personal experience.

What makes all the difference is by living a life fully committed to the purpose of Christ's birth, death and resurrection. That's the best way to show gratitude to God for sending His only begotten Son to die for our sins.
