The Great Man Called Alani!

Birthday is special and distinctive; its distinctive nature is refined in wishes and goodwill messages from friends, families, colleagues, subordinates, and contemporaries from afar and near. By now, heaps of messages would have flooded Mr. Adebayo Lukman Alani's phones with many gifts and picture frame presentations, not because of being a lecturer at Lens Polytechnic Offa but because of his reserved humility and respect for all and sundry.

John Ruskin says, the first test of a truly great man is his humility. By humility, I don't mean doubt of his powers or hesitation in speaking his opinion, but merely an understanding of the relationship between what he can say and what he can do. Alani's words and doings are the embodiment of humility.

Robert Green Ingersoll in his classical quote posits that a great man does not seek applause or place; he seeks truth; he seeks the road to happiness, and what he ascertains, he gives to others. Alani, an altruistic broadcast journalist, gives the knowledge he ascertains to students. He works with full dedication and commitment without seeking applause. He is not only loved, he is cherished for what he does.

"If you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it. Alani does not only impart knowledge but also inspires others with his passion for mass communication. As a lecturer at the Mass Communication Department, Mr. Lukman Alani has become a cornerstone known for his dedication and his unwavering commitment to the field of journalism.

Undoubtedly, Alani's impact goes beyond the classroom. His enthusiasm for the subject has touched the lives of many, shaping young minds and instilling in them a love for communication and media. His guidance and mentorship have not only encouraged the students to excel academically, but also to pursue their dreams with confidence and determination.

As today remains special, it is imperative to take a moment to express gratitude for Mr. Lukman Alani's contributions to education and the field of mass communication at our prestigious polytechnic. May his birthday be filled with joy, laughter, and the warmth of those whose lives he has touched.

Like the word of Dr. Yisa Azeez, a king was born today. Happy Birthday to the king, I wish you more prosperous years ahead.
