Eating In Dream by Davidnilla: 10:29pm On Dec 29, 2023
I noticed I'm eating in the dream, back to back, to the extent it became show obvious that I had to make this post.

Whenever I pray against it before sleeping, I'll eat that very night in sleep.

Even if I didn't have such dreams for a week, the night I pray, na the night I go chop am.

What could be the problem? Anyone experienced this?

Eating in the Dream: Why Am I Always Eating in My Dreams?
Many people frequently have the experience of eating in their dreams. Have you noticed you're constantly snacking on something in your dreams lately? There are several potential causes for this, including You can have cravings for particular foods or be constantly hungry while awake.

Our waking thoughts, experiences, and physical sensations often influence our dreams. It's natural to dream about food if you go to sleep famished.

Food can represent emotional nourishment. Eating in dreams sometimes symbolizes a need to 'feed' certain emotions or parts of yourself. The sort of food you consume can provide insight into what you may be missing in daily life. For example, comfort foods like ice cream could indicate a desire for more warmth, sweetness or joy. You may have unresolved anxiety. Dreaming of eating can also reflect your worries or concerns that feel 'hard to swallow' in your waking life. Eating in your dream could be a way of avoiding or 'stuffing down' these unpleasant emotions rather than dealing with them head-on.

Dreams of eating could point to issues around control or power. Suppose you feel out of control in some area of your life. In that case, your dreaming mind may use images of eating or being unable to stop eating to symbolize your lack of control or inability to set proper boundaries.

The meaning will depend on the details. Pay attention to what and how you're eating. Eating alone versus with others, eating too much or too little, the taste and texture of the food - all these factors can provide clues to help interpret your dream. Keep a journal and look for patterns to gain more insight into what your eating dreams may be trying to tell you. Eating in dreams

Dreams are just the result of subconscious activity in the human brain, they are illusions of the mind and are therefore not real.

Science already explains it. Look up REM sleep, and stop turning to fairy tale books about the supernatural to explain things.

Religion is nothing more than a tool of subservience and control. There is nothing necessary truthful about religion.

Free your mind, you are not possessed.

Your local people brain no fit match that of Oyinbo's brain, is that it? Ok. undecided

2. It is possible to sleep and wake up with a migraine the next day as a result of all that tumbling going on in your mind, yes. Depending on the kind of sickness, you should be talking to your doctor or psychiatrist and not voodoo ritualists who go by various titles. undecided

3. Ice cream contains eggs, milk, so why can't it be considered nourishment? Analysis: Is it actually healthy to eat ice cream? Here’s what the evidence says

Why do I fall sick the next day after eating in the dream?

What of the times when you don't dream and you fall sick anyway?

Or the times when you dream and you don't fall sick?

Why would you ignore those in favour of what you already believe to be true or what someone told you is true?

Is it nit better for you to go for a check-up to be sure everything is all right before you start ascribing your illness to magic?

It could actually even be a symptom/warning sign from your body on your physical health when you dream such dreams.

You, my friend, likely have it backwards.

As long as you're among the local people, no problem.

Did you read the part where I said that it become so obvious that I noticed that whenever I eat in the dream, I feel sick the next day?

Whenever I wake up, I feel like there's something on my throat which I have to swallow.

All these oyibo explanation to dreams, na just ignorance. We live in a world where there is evil and bad, and you know that.

People like you are into this, but y'all will come online and make it look like a folktale. Tuaa

1. I don't have your local kind of brain. undecided

2. It never even occurred to you that you could be wrong about that. Something in your throat may also be that a spider crawled in there while you were sleeping. The case has been made that an average of 8 spiders crawl into a person's mouth each year while sleeping. undecided

3. And somehow you are a being of significance to this evil and bad? Africans and their many delusions ehn! undecided

4. Ask yourself this. How come people like me are not plagued by many of the same anxieties and fears that plague, and probably rule over your very lives? Doesn't that at least clue you into the fact that you must be doing something wrong if the continuous end-result is perpetual fear and panic? undecided

The truth has nothing to do with skin colour.

If anything, Christianity is precisely the "oyibo interpretation" you desperately don't want to hear because it is precisely the white man's religion.

Science deals with facts not interpretations of a particular race or ethnic group.

1. I have stolen from a native doctor in the past and happened to me. I heard of others who did back when we were young as well, and nothing happened to them either — many were never caught. The way you suddenly present the fables you cling to as facts reveals you must have been living ruled by your fears and anxieties for the longest. undecided

2. I got death threats back in Nigeria too but at the end of the day, nothing happened, not even the next day or year. I am afraid you are the predictable one here since you seem to have already concluded that the scenarios you presented were in some way unique to you or those you claim to have heard them from. Like most folks like you, when telling these fables, you assume uniqueness forgetting that where it is you are speaking of. undecided

Yes, I used to be friends with kids who lived in a Babalawo house— our neighbors two houses down— and yes, we did steal and nothing happened to us. As for thieves who broke(on more than one occasion by the way) into his house and made away with some valuables, they were never caught. The police came on both occasions but nothing was heard of the thieves being caught. undecided
