Senator Henry Seriake Dickson Education Support Scheme

In continuation of Senator Henry Seriake Dickson’s investment in education and human capacity development generally over the years, the Henry Seriake Dickson Foundation announces its 2023/2024 Education Support Scheme. Forms for the 2023 edition of the Senator Henry Seriake Dickson Education Support Scheme are now available for collection.

The 2023 beneficiaries of the Scheme will comprise 300 undergraduates from Bayelsa West Senatorial District; 300 undergraduates of Bayelsa State origin from all the universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in the State, who are on first class or second class upper standing, and others the Committee deems eligible.

Also, to benefit are 100 students undergoing their Master's degree programmes and 50 PhD candidates.

The Senator Henry Seriake Dickson Education Support Scheme, which in 2022 supported 600 undergraduates and all Bayelsa State students at the Nigeria Law School, is sponsored by the Henry Seriake Dickson Foundation, HSDF.

Successful candidates will be formally presented the grants in January to support their educational endeavours.

They want to spend a token from trillions they have stol.en from the masses so that people don’t say they are wicked.

Bayelsa is supposed to be as beautiful as Madeira or like Singapore. From Ibori (of Delta State) to another a.ni.mals that are there now, none of them is pure. They and their thie_ving civil servants and other politicians and co_rru.pt traditional rulers, community and youth leaders don st,eal the state bend.

•At least,if ALL the Governors ,the National Assembly Members ( Senators and House of Reps) + States Assembly -can give back to the Masses - eg, Educational Support ( Scholarships-, Bursaries) and Provision of Employments,Nigeria would be better!
