Change Illegal TIC Leadership In Kwara - Salahudeen A Lukman Appeals To Gov Abdulrahman

Comrade Salahudeen A Lukman, popular as 'Eluku Omo Adugbo, has urged Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to address the pressing issue of illegal and overstayed Transition Implementation Chairmen (TIC) across the sixteen local government areas.

Lukman is the the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate for Ojomu/Balogun Constituency in the 2023 general election in Kwara State.

Lukman emphasized the deteriorating state of affairs, pointing out the alarming rise in insecurity, poorly supervised projects, and a lack of positive impact on the lives of Kwarans. The call for a change in leadership stems from concerns about the governor's governing style, which has led to a perceived absence of significant progress.

The appeal extends to Governor Abdulrahman to consider either conducting local government elections in the coming year or appointing new faces to replace the longstanding illegal TIC Chairmen. Lukman argues that maintaining the current status quo is neither morally nor administratively justifiable, as the appointed leaders, originally intended for a short-term role, have now overstayed for nearly three years.

Expressing the urgency of the matter, Lukman urged the governor to provide Kwara people with a glimmer of hope by replacing the TIC chairmen with individuals capable of effecting positive change. The plea resonates beyond political interests, with a focus on the welfare of the people and a desire for effective, functional local government administration.

As Lukman articulates his new year request, he emphasizes that the call is not driven by political motives but by a genuine concern for the well-being of the people. The plea concludes with a call to critical stakeholders within and outside the ruling party to join in the collective effort to rescue Kwara State from the challenges posed by the prolonged tenure of illegal TIC Chairmen.

Hon. Comr Salahudeen A Lukman affirms that Kwara people deserve better leadership, and the time for change is now.

May God bless this Lukman Guy. Just see tyranny at the very height of it. Imagine if President B.A. Tinubu decides to remove all governors and replace them with some illegal placeholders or military officers. Just imagine the kind of wailing and violence that would be going on in the country...
.
Local government that is supposed to be independent, with elections conducted by Inec...just see how a governor is messing things up, just flexing muscles.
.
.
Honestly who did this thing to black people??
.
As a bonafide and full blooded #omo_ile_Yoruba, Omo ile kaa-aaro Oojire, My advice to everyone in Nigeria is that when the next election comes, either Obi is contesting or not, anywhere Obi, it's better you vote for him.
.
I don't have trust in Obi, in fact Nigeria is so rotten Obi himself might struggle to get things done. But the truth is that, we have tried the same breed of people for donkey years and it has brought us backwards to this point.
.
.
Is it not common sense that we try someone young and new?
.
There are doubts if Jonathan has a child, they said his wife who doesn't speak good English controls him. But ask yourself. If you are given the chance to return to Jona's era or remain here what will you chose?
.
Baba, Jonah was selling oil for about 80 to 120 naira per litter. Dollar was 150 naira, electricity bill was almost non existent. (Yes no power... but right now that same power is not there and world bank is telling Mr. President that you must pay for darkness!)
.
.
.
Abeg I no dey do tribalism in my thing. This governor is a shame to my people. I dey fight Igbo and bash Dem online normal normal...na our way for naija...but if Nnamdi Azikwe and Jona can do well and we still hated them...then no one else deserves it.
.
.
Some Oloriburuku dey shout third class up and down and goats on heat when Buhari used Nepa bill to rule your papa.
.

I will choose a gun wielding christian Igbo anyday anytime against some of my own tribesmen who wants to die with the philistines in Gaza.
.
.
May God give the current president the much needed wisdom to make Nigeria great again.

For the past 16 years, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State has been under scrutiny for its management of the Joint Account Committee (JAC), purportedly established to develop the local government areas. However, a closer look at the situation reveals a disconcerting narrative of misappropriation, leaving the rural areas impoverished and the capital city, Ilorin, bearing the brunt of the neglect.

For some 20 years people of Patigi local government area shared the General Hospital with goat as most of the wards were in a state of unbelievable level of dilapidation.

Make una live Mallam A.A alone ooo

The Joint Account Committee (JAC) was ostensibly set up to channel monthly allocations to the 16 local government areas in Kwara State for developmental purposes. Unfortunately, over the years, this mechanism became a guise for diverting funds, with the PDP allegedly siphoning resources meant for local development.

Contrary to the intended purpose, the 16 local government areas seem to have been subjected to perpetual poverty. A glaring manifestation of this disparity is observable when one surveys Ilorin, the state capital. The low-income workers predominantly hail from regions outside the capital, with the three local government areas in Ilorin appearing exempt from the dire conditions afflicting their counterparts.

The current administration, led by Governor Mallam A.A, has embarked on a commendable journey of rectifying the years of neglect. Focusing on addressing the roits in public facilities, the government is endeavoring to breathe life into infrastructures that have been abandoned for two decades.

The state of public schools in remote areas, dilapidated roads, and understaffed hospitals has been a longstanding concern. Governor Mallam A.A is making strides to address these issues, recognizing the pivotal role they play in the overall development of the state.

The alleged misappropriation of funds through the JAC account during the PDP's 16-year tenure has left a lasting impact on the local government areas of Kwara State, plunging them into poverty. Governor Mallam A.A's commitment to rectifying the situation is evident in the ongoing efforts to revive abandoned public facilities. The journey towards genuine development and equitable resource distribution is underway, but it remains imperative for the government to remain transparent and accountable in its endeavors.
