Do muslims really celebrate new year, though i mean no offence. I have being so curious to find out if our muslims brothers celebrate new year festivities just like the christains do. My reasons for this, is because the celebration is mostly done by christians, like christians go to church on new year's eve and on new year day to thank God for seeing them through out the year. Meanwhile i have muslims friends that see today as just another regular day to go about doing their business.
In as much as some do not feel its worth it, i still want to wish everyone most especially my dear nairalanders a happy and prosperous new year ahead.
God bless you all.

I would have said no, until this morning.
As I was coming from church, I saw them troping from somewhere with something that looks like a food package, then, I saw our neighbors family coming in, too. They were sure coming from New year prayer, my guise though, but I think I'm correct.

Bro,Muslims in my area went for prayer early this morning. We entered gate together as I was coming from church.
Or do they have mass gathering that crosses mid night.
