Rivers State Government Fulfils Pledge of Automatic Employment to Wene Port Harcourt.

The Rivers State Government under the administration of Governor Siminalaya Fubara has fulfilled its promise of Automatic Employment to Promise Wosu Junior now Popularly known as Wene Port Harcourt, the Rivers indigene from Omudioga in Emohua Local Government that completed Lagos to Port Harcourt Marathon in a bid to set Guinness World Records on longest distance covered on foot.

Wene Port Harcourt was received by Rivers people led by the Governor, Sir Siminalaya Fubara on the 21st October, 2023 at the State Government House in Port Harcourt. On the marathon completion, he was promised juicy offers for projecting the good image of the State, of which provision of automatic employment in the State's Ministry of Finance was part of it.

On a post in his verified Facebook handle, Wene Port Harcourt shared, thanking the Rivers State Governor for Fulfilling his promise of giving him automatic employment.
