Paypal And Clickbank, In Nigeria, What Kind Of Business Is This? by coachola: 2:32pm On Nov 03, 2011
I started trying to do online businesses from Nigeria only to realize that paypal and clickbank accounts cannot be operated from Nigeria. It is so embarrassing to realize that  if you will dare open an account with paypal you will need to be generating fake US address, fake US phone nos., non-existent US bank account, paying to change your IP Address. To be frank with ourselves, this is so disrespectful and denigrating to our national status and identity. As powerful as we are, we sell ourselves short because of material gain. One thing I know is that no matter the level of opportunity that may be elusive because of the nonavailability of these account, there will be a thousand more legal and lucrative businesses in replacement of them. I don't believe we have to turn ourselves into cyber thieves to make it online. Let us rather convince the whole world that Nigerians are honorable people and we can stand for what right, no matter what it costs us. I am always convinced that there is enough money to go round if we can see it with the eyes of our minds. Let us build a nation that is strong through financial integrity.

Quite true. It wasn't their fault though. It is due to the HIGH rate of scamming in the country. The only way scamming can be slowed down is if we implement the chinese model of information traffic control, which makes the chinese government go through all emails. And we can't do that. At least not now.

The thing is, we keep on harping about how other countries insult us, but some of us (the scammers) insult them too by constantly trying to steal their money.

I keep on telling us (nigerians) that we do not need to beg these oyibo to do business with us, as our leaders have been doing. Fix up your country, they will come. That is how it is done. Check Singapore, Malaysia (growing really fast), UAE, Nigeria can do this. Fashola has already started.

Re: Paypal And Clickbank, In Nigeria, What Kind Of Business Is This? by biz1234: 3:52am On Nov 12, 2012
I agree with you 101%, I had a very bitter experience with paypal back then when I started, I had about $1638 which was frozen in my account till today, I still wonder why this guys have to treat us this way? That is why I decided to stay put with Amazon and others.

I think, we should all go out and spread the good news about our honesty and transparency to the whole world, but it must start from home. Lets begin here first.

How will you explain people who go about collecting money from innocent Nigerians all in the name of opening paypal account? why would any body sell such unrealistic stuff to people for the sake of making money, how would you feel if after opening an account for some only to discover after some few days that the same account has been frozen? I think, it is high time we stopped deceiving ourselves.

Lets start here!

Just passing though...
I didn't wanted to comment initially but I have to comment.

Let me start with CLICKBANK
For Clickbank, they support Nigeria as you can operate operate it on Nigeria IP and even have your cheque sent to your home address in Nigeria while you clear it into your Dom Account just as we normally do for Google Adsense cheque.

To duly open a CLICKBANK account that won't have issue for your cheque to be sent to Nigeria successfully, you just need to follow some simple procedures that are legal as you will need your Nigeria ID card be it National ID card,Driver License or International passport and any utility bill like recent PHCN bill.
You can visit my webpage in my signature to read how to go about that as time cannot permit me to post the step by step guide in here or speak with me on 0 8 0 9 1 8 3 3 8 6 6

I just used over $1,000 PayPal cash between yesterday evening and this morning.
No issue with PayPal and I've transacted over $10,000 with PayPal account so far and never lost a dime since 2009.

PayPal likes Nigeria that are doing legitimate things with them and need some skills, tips and expertise though not hard but needed to be provided by an experienced user.

Time cannot permit me to disburse here but you can check my signature for FREE access.

I keep telling Nigerians, there are other legitimate ways to earn money online. One of such is the selling of resell right products. It is in my opinion the fastest and easiest ways any new comer can make money online. Give it a trial.

Thank you!
I also have 3 paypal accounts of which one of the accounts I do use the least has transacted over $19,000 without problem which PayPal told me the amount when I called them 3 days to remove 500$ daily withdrawal limit on my account to unlimited which they did based on my transactions history all done from Nigeria which was done.
