BREAKING: Boko Haram Terrorists Attack Yobe Community, Kill Pastor, 13 Others; Burn Church, Houses, Cars

The Islamic State-backed faction of Boko Haram, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), formerly known as Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād, has attacked Kwari, a town in Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe State.

Geidam is the council area of the immediate former Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba Alkali.

SaharaReporters learnt that the gunmen during the attack killed the pastor of the Church of Christ In Nations (COCIN), Luka Levong.
Thirteen other villagers including the church treasurer, Maina Abdullahi were also killed by the terrorists, an eyewitness said.

The source added that the gunmen burnt down the church, many houses and cars.

The attack, which occurred around 1 am on Friday was not repelled, another resident told SaharaReporters.

Other residents who had retired to their homes were forced to flee into the bushes as the gunmen stormed the village, shooting sporadically.
“The victims were taken to the Specialist Hospital, Geidam,” the source added.

Since the death of JAS leader, Abubakar Shekau, ISWAP has been successfully consolidating its grip in locations around Lake Chad.

I always wonder at what point these Islamic terrorist will realize it's impossible to wipe out Christians and other Muslims who don't share in their ideology.
A religious war you have fought for more than 15 years and still no sign of victory,I really wonder what drives these animals to keep killing people.
My advice to Government is to employ non-kinetic ways to end this war.
It's obvious brute force will never stop this terrorist,it hasn't worked In the last 15 years,let the Government take the battle to the Islamic territorist by employing mass propaganda,it's time to start a mass misinformation drive amongst these people.
Government must begin to point out the folly of this Jihad,and I'm sure a way to do it is by employing Muslim clerics to lead the way.
The Clerics must tell these terriorists there's no Al-jannah for anyone who kills another human being in the name of Allah,also they must begin to preach message that encourage reconciliation,just mass propaganda to dissuade the minds of would be future recruits.
I'm sure a Continuous bombardment of these kinds of information and religious teaching all over some parts of the North will surely convince some neutrals to lay down their weapons.
That's just my own advice to Government.
Enough of these blood- letting it's time for peace to reign in the North.
