"MONEY IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM, THERE'S CAPITAL EVERYWHERE"

I said those exact words to a friend who came complaining to me about how hard life was getting in Nigeria.

📌You have laptop and a will to learn--no data, NEPA will refuse to bring the light.

And the list goes on.

You see, to start something is actually the the hardest. Like a millionaire said, "the first million is gonna break your back," and that's why the vast majority never break through.

So back to the reason why I started writing in the first place. CAPITAL. Remember how I said money is not the problem? Yes, that's right. I can beat my chest anywhere and confess it even with a gun pointed to my head.

You know why? Because I have seen people call out the amount of money they wanted out of thing air.

Let me tell you a story.

The year was 2019. I was scrolling aimlessly on Twitter (now X), catching cruise and just looking for memes to amuse myself. Suddenly I stumbled on a thread. It was about a 17 year old boy who had just received funding for his agro business.

How did he do it? Well, like you and me, this young man had no funds to even start anything. But what he had though, was a drive and an awareness of what he wanted.

This young man knew that if he could capture the imagination of someone that had the money he was looking for, funds would follow.

Long story short, this boy entered DMs of money bags, fully prepared with a comprehensive business plan. And his mantra was simple: If you invest in my business, I will double that amount of money for you in a year, guaranteed. He was asking for millions (I can't remember how much exactly now).

My point is, his age became irrelevant when his know-how and determination were in play. There's money everywhere. But you need to first:

📌Know what you want
📌Get your hands dirty (work on it)
📌Know every detail of your business
📌Register a business name
📌Create a stunning business plan
📌Apply for loans and grants -- grants preferably.

At what point in the above plan did you go like, "ha, this is going to be a bit hard o"? Please, eliminate that thought. Everything Is possible.
