Eat without a doubt. Wolof rice is the best. We learned it from them while Ghanaians created an abomination from copying our style. |

Jewessgratitud3: Okay that is possibly true, but the point simply is, Senegalese jollof is not prepared in the same way as what we have in this thread because even if the okra is cooked with the rice, it is cooked whole not cut up like this, and certainly looks nothing like it. The Senegalese version is quite delicious and visually appealing,not to mention, loaded with nutrients. 1 Like |

It is worth a try because of: 1. the fish 2. the prawn/crayfish 3. the ponmo 4. the green 5. the cooking on top of firewood. The five above appeal to me so the okra shouldn't be a dampener. |
