The majority of scholars in Islam stand for the punishment of an apostate. The following key passage in the Qur'an is used: ‘But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks; except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people (Sura 4:89-90). Other passages are used with an interpretation to punish apostates: 2:217; 3:72,90; 4:137; 5:54; 16:106.

Since the Qur’an does not have many aspects of religion in detail, Muslims follow what Muhammad said and did. For example, the Qur’an states to establish prayer however it is in the traditions (Ahadith/Sunnah) that Muslims find the number and methodology of prayer. According to the Qur’an what Muhammad say or do has to be followed: ‘Whoso obeyeth the Messenger obeyeth Allah.’ (Qur’an4:80).

The most reputed Hadith conveying the death penalty was reported by Ibn Abbas that Muhammad said: “Whoever renounces his religion, kill him.”  (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 260). This statement has been related in the following collections. {Sahih Al-Bukhari, “Bab Hukm al Murtad wa al Murtadah”, Vol. 8, pp. 50, 163; Al Muwata’, “Kitab al Hudud”, Vol. 2, p. 736; Sunan Al Tirmidhi, “Kitab al Hudud”, Vol. 4, p. 48; Sunan Abi Daud, ‘Kitab al Hudud”, Vol. 4, p. 126; Sunan Ibn Majah, “Kitab al Hudud” Vol. 2, p. 848; Sunan AL Nasaee “Al Hukm fi al Murtad”, Vol. 7, pp. 103-104; Al Musnad, “Musnad ‘Abd Allah b. ‘Abbas”, Vol. 1, pp. 466, 605, 606, 691; Sunan Al Daraqutni, “Kitab al Hudud”, Vol. 3, p. 113}

al-Muwatta of Imam Malik (36.18.15)  states: "The Messenger of Allah said, "If someone changes his religion - then strike off his head. Also Al Hakim reported on the authority of Ibn Abbas that the Prophet Muhammad said: “ The Muslim who converts his religion, kill him. If the person says: {there is no god but God and that Muhammad is His Messenger}, then you have no right to punish him except for the crime he commits.”(Al Mustudrak, “Kitab al Hudud”, Vol. 4, p.366).
All schools of thoughts among the Sunni and Shia agree for the punishment of an apostate except some disagreement on detail of prescription:

Hanafi - recommends three days of imprisonment before execution, although the delay before killing the Muslim apostate is not mandatory. Apostates who are men must be killed, states the Hanafi Sunni fiqh, while women must be held in solitary confinement and beaten every three days till they recant and return to Islam.

Maliki - allows up to ten days for recantation, after which the apostate must be killed. Both men and women apostates deserve death penalty according to the traditional view of Sunni Maliki fiqh.

Shafi'i - waiting period of three days is required to allow the Muslim apostate to repent and return to Islam. After the wait, execution is the traditional recommended punishment for both men and women apostates.

Hanbali - waiting period not necessary, but may be granted. Execution is traditional recommended punishment for both genders of Muslim apostates.

Ja'fari - waiting period not necessary, but may be granted according to this Shia fiqh. Male apostate must be executed, states the Ja’fari fiqh, while a female apostate must be held in solitary confinement and beaten every day at the hours of the salah, prayers, , till she repents and returns to Islam.

Ahmad Ibn Naqib al-Misri (d. 769/1368) in his works on Imam Shafi’s jurisprudence, namely ‘Umdat al-Salik (pp. 595-96) states: ‘Leaving Islam is the ugliest form of unbelief (kufr) and the worst…When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostasies from Islam, he deserves to be killed. In such a case, it is obligatory…to ask him to repent and return to Islam. If he does it is accepted from him, but if he refuses, he is immediately killed' (The Reliance of the Traveller, Tr. Noah Ha Mim Keller, Dubai, Modern Printing Press (1988)..

Hizb at-Tahrir (HT) an Islamic group that has taken up re-establishment of Khilafah as its core mission, in a draft constitution (dustoor), proposed by its founder/leader Taqiuddin al-Nabhani and adopted by HT states in Article 7c:
“Those who are guilty of apostasy (murtad) from Islam are to be executed according to the rule of apostasy, provided they have themselves renounced Islam.” (Taqiuddin al-Nabahani.

“The System of Islam,” Hizbut Tahrir, p. 116, also on line: http://www.hizb-ut-tahrir.org/PDF/EN/en_books_pdf/system_of_islam.pdf).

One of the most dangerous issue the West is facing is the ‘2 faces of Islam.’ On one hand Muslims tell us there is no compulsion in their religion (http://www.islamonline.net/livedialogue/english/Browse.asp?hGuestID=Gz9HCK) and yet on the other they tell among themselves to clear up apostasy from among them. Allah cannot cast anyone to hell. He has no such powers. The only punishment he can give non-muslims is to use his slaves to kill them. After that, there's nothing he can do.

The true God would wait for you to repent even in your state of apostasy, and if you don't repent, He'll cast you to hell when you die. He doesn't need anyone to strike off anybody's head.

I love Islam!
Islamic state uses Shari'a law. And in that law islam is the state law. You can't be against the state law!

It's the only religion accepted for eternal life!
It's the religion of all Prophets from Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham and all their descendants!

May the peace of Allah be on them all!

Allah is the best of deceivers. He even termed himself so. The Bible says, Satan is a liar from the beginning.

That's a whole lot of deception up there. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and all the prophets of Israel knew no entity called Allah.

Please be corrected.

They were merely Hebrews. Judaism entered Israel through Moses. They never ever heard the name 'Allah' all their lives.

Allah is used in the Arabic and Hausa Bible for God. Is that a mistake?

Show me where Judaism is mentioned in the Bible as the religion of Moses or Christianity as the religion of Jesus?

Allah is capable of doing all things and He does things that befits His majesty!

And your Lord is a great deceiver

Jeremiah 4:10
Then I said, "Ah, Sovereign LORD, how completely you have deceived (nasha) this people and Jerusalem by saying, 'You will have peace,' when the sword is at our throats."

We have it in...

1 Kings 22:20-22
And the LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?'
"One suggested this, and another that. 21 Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the LORD and said, 'I will entice him.'
" 'By what means?' the LORD asked.
" 'I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,' he said.
" 'You will succeed in enticing him,' said the LORD. 'Go and do it.'

Here we see that the man said that he would resort to lying in order to entice Ahab and God supported the idea and told him to go ahead and do it!

We even have it in...

Ezekiel 14:9-11
" 'And if the prophet is enticed to utter a prophecy, I the LORD have enticed that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and destroy him from among my people Israel. 10 They will bear their guilt-the prophet will be as guilty as the one who consults him. 11 Then the people of Israel will no longer stray from me, nor will they defile themselves anymore with all their sins. They will be my people, and I will be their God, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "

God is punishing him for a crime that He enticed him to do in the first place? Isn't that entrapment?

Another passage...

Isaiah 37:6-7
Isaiah said to them, "Tell your master, 'This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid of what you have heard-those words with which the underlings of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. Listen! I am going to put a spirit in him so that when he hears a certain report, he will return to his own country, and there I will have him cut down with the sword.'

God had that spirit spread a rumor so that the King of Assyria can to return to his homeland. In short, that spirit's purpose was for deception.

Another example from the Bible...

Isaiah 19:14
The LORD has poured into them a spirit of dizziness; they make Egypt stagger in all that she does, as a drunkard staggers around in his vomit.

Here we see God deceiving people to the extent that they become absolutely foolish.

Even though I don't believe the Gospels teach that Jesus taught he was God, however this example is for those who believe that Jesus is God. Jesus admits that he was speaking figuratively all this time...

John 16:25
"Though I have been speaking figuratively (paroimia), a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father.

Why wasn't Jesus speaking in a normal and clear way all the time? Why did Jesus then go and say that he won't 'use this kind of language'?

Well, here we find out why...

Mark 4:10-12
When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables. 11He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables 12so that," 'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'

So here we see that Jesus was deceiving certain people by speaking in parables so that they won't (and God forbid!) REPENT AND BE FORGIVEN!

Also in...

2 Thessalonians 2:11
For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie.

So God will delude people so that they can believe lies?

Allah is capable of doing all things and He does things that befits His majesty!

Lies and deception does not befit the majesty of anybody. A god who lies and deceives has no majesty.

Can you see how Allah the deceiver is working through you to deceive the world by quoting the scriptures upside down ?

And your Lord is a great deceiver

[quote Jeremiah 4:10
Then I said, "Ah, Sovereign LORD, how completely you have deceived (nasha) this people and Jerusalem by saying, 'You will have peace,' when the sword is at our throats."[/quote]

Deceitfully taken out of context. Here, jeremiah was lamenting to God when God gave him words of judgement against Jerusalem. Meanwhile Jeremiah had heard other prophets prophesying peace. He responded to God that God has deceived the people in reference to the prophecies of the other prophets which contradicted what God was now telling him about the future of Jerusalem. To this God replied: "I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. Jeremiah 23:21.

It was then made clear to Jeremiah that false prophets prophesied in God's name. God didn't deceive the people.

We have it in...

1 Kings 22:20-22

God is punishing him for a crime that He enticed him to do in the first place? Isn't that entrapment?

Another deceptive by the Al-makr, Allah the deceiver through his slave Abutwins.

Ahab was a very wicked king who committed so many bloodshed and led Israel to worship idols instead of the living God. God was done waiting for Ahab to repent. It was time to bring Ahab to judgement and give Israel another king. God wanted Ahab to die in battle because he lived by his sword and must therefore die by his sword. Ahab didn't want to go to battle himself and since God cannot deceive (that ability is not in Him). A spirit of Satan offered to do the work of deception to lure Ahab into battle. Ahab was successfully enticed and died in battle at the same spot where he killed Naboth whose vineyard he had snatched.

This teaches us that, once your cup of wickedness is full, God would do everything possible to bring you to judgement. God didn't punish Ahab for anything He enticed him to do. God punished Ahab for the sins he had committed and for which he had been severally warned. He never repented in spite of the several warnings.

Another passage...

Isaiah 37:6-7

A spirit spread a rumour that there was war that needed the attention of the king of Assyria who was at that time entering Israel to battle. The only job the spirit did was to spread the rumour. The rumour was true. The king of Assyria returned and abandoned his attack against Israel to go and face the war. He went and fought against Lachish who at the time of the rumour was warring against Assyria. Again the deceiver is using his slave to deceive people about what really happened here.

Another example from the Bible...

Isaiah 19:14

Lies from the deceiver again.

God punished a people by allowing the spirit of dizziness upon them. As a result they stagger and were as drunken men. How is this a deception? What correlation as dizziness with deception? Allah's slave must deceive like his god.

J
ohn 16:25
"Though I have been speaking figuratively (paroimia), a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father.

Why wasn't Jesus speaking in a normal and clear way all the time? Why did Jesus then go and say that he won't 'use this kind of language'?

Well, here we find out why...

Mark 4:10-12

But to those on the outside everything is said in parables 12so that," 'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'

So here we see that Jesus was deceiving certain people by speaking in parables so that they won't (and God forbid!) REPENT AND BE FORGIVEN!

Can you tell me how figurative speaking translates to deception? Slave of Allah the best of deceivers, a figure of speech is not the same as a deceptive speech. Jesus spoke in parables because the deep things of God's Kingdom are meant only for those who seek it. If you really need God, come closer to Him and dig deeper. God's gold is never for swines. That's the only way to have genuine repentance.

Also in...

2 Thessalonians 2:11
For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie.

So God will delude people so that they can believe lies?

The slave of Allah the best of deceivers has taken another scripture out of context. This scripture is talking about people who have consistently resisted the truth. Just like you have been doing. Since they hate the truth, God would eventually leave them to themselves and allow the emergence of the antichrist who opposes anything that is called Truth. These people who hate the truth would immediately accept the lies of the antichrist to their own destruction.

Repent, o slave of Allah the best of deceivers. If you fail to do so, you'll continue to be deluded as you are today until the end comes. Understand that no sinner shall inherit the Kingdom of God.
