Good Afternoon Nairalanders. Compliments of the seasons to you.

Please i'll be needing your advise on the aforementioned topic. i have been able to save up to 2.5Million. i dont know whether to use it to settle down with my fiancee or just begin my building project. i already have a land. I'll b clocking 35 years this year. i'm currently working in a private firm with a salary range between 150,000 - 250,000. i also have a personal seasonal business i manage on my own.. My fiancee is still in her late 20's and she has never for once troubled me about us settling down. we both love eachother. we have dated for 2 years 3 months. i proposed to her after a year of courtship. she never knew about my land or the cash. i decided to keep it to myself. ill eventually tell her with time . Please your candid advise is needed as i'm just kinda confused about my life.

Thanks in anticipation

I'll wait for the elders to comment but if it were me, i will settle myself first. A simple wedding like a court marriage will suffice.

If you are the only son of your parents, especially if your tribe is Igbo, marry first because the amount you have saved cannot take your building project far. Abi na one room you wan build? But make sure your fiancee is also an income earner.

If you are not the only son of your parents, you can start the building project first. But have it in mind that the amount you have saved cannot take the building project far.

i said to begin , and not complete. i just thought instead of keeping the cash idle, i should channel it to either settling down or begin the building project

What advantage does your settling down brings?

Is she productive?

Do what's best for you but if she's a good and supportive woman please marry her and build your lives together
