Your Advice Is Needed by Pce234: 2:58pm On Jan 10
Hello all please your advice is seriously needed. So I inherited a 5 bedroom duplex in Abuja from my late father and I am seriously thinking of turning this house into a shortlet apartment. I am the first son and will be turning 22 this year. Plus I already graduated from university. So I am confused on if I should venture into this business or not. So I will appreciate your sincere advise and I don't know if this can be moved to the front page, so it can be seen by more people. Thank you and I will be in the comment section.

Sure... That's a good idea. Sell it in 10 years time and use the money to get married, build a house and invest in agriculture with the rest

So sorry about your late dad... but

FIRST, get a LAWYER that was LOYAL and TRUSTED by your late father. Sit and calculate the long term prospects...

Then scout for companies that handle shortlets from SCALING TO PUBLIC ADVERTS and MANAGEMENT...... and find the offers that are juicy to you. (VERY IMPORTANT, YOU CAN'T DO IT ALONE ELSE YOU WILL BE AT LOSS)

Next for 1-2 years, dont spend your profits, RATHER, use the money to acquire other PROPERTIES AND TURN THEM INTO SHORTLETS TOO.

By the third year, get your own place or relocate to another country,
Then
RINSE AND REPEAT.

My friends do this alot.

I wish you well
