How can you compare the relative safety, economic security and general well-being of the average Yoruba or the majority of Yoruba between the OBJ and Buhari/Tinubu years and declare that they're now having it better under the latter? Or you think Yoruba 'benefitting' is only when they get all the juicy appointments and the 'hated Igbo competition' are marginalised, deprived and rendered inconsequential? Wasn't Nigeria, which the Yoruba are a part of, less divided, safer and more investor-friendly during the OBJ years compared to 2015-date? If you answer in the affirmative, then isn't that a benefit to the Yoruba too?

na Tinubu majority of Yorubas dey follow. Dem no reckon with OBJ at all. OBJ has a reputation of blocking Yoruba while Tinubu promotes Yoruba people to greatness ( their list is endless). Na Igbo people carry OBJ matter for head like gala. Tinubu pass am for Yoruba land. And as they say, charity begins at home.

The general feeling is that we benefitted little from his 8 years compared to what he did up north or down south east and south south.

The main Highways In Yorubaland are Lagos- Ibadan expressway extending to Ilorin & the Ibadan Ife ilesha Akure extending to owo .both highways were left to rot while a Yoruba son was president for 8 years.
Ibadan Ilorin road awarded 2000 still has a large part of it uncompleted.

See the main reason most yorubas voted Asiwaju even when we know Obj did 8 years and PYO just did 8 years as VP and our igbo brother felt we were unfair contesting presidency with them in 2023 is that Yorubas don't count Obj presidency as a Yoruba presidency (actually Obj deserve kudo for being the only nationalist president we've had till date) they generally believed Obj didn't represent our interest because we didn't vote him.,..the vast majority of yorubas preferred Olu falae to him....it was the other regions that forced him down our throat....he never won any of his polling station in his years in office except I think for the last election he held before leaving power.
