With those two tech skills you will be able to enter into conversations that can provide opportunities... And expand your network... Also you would have to get a lot of mentors and ask a ton of questions ... 6month of daily learning for a minimum of 4 hours will transform your life ... I tell you because I went down that road and initially it was tough but I decided it was a do or die affair and eventually it became so easy, and it is feeding me and my family in this useless economy .. If I were to give a sound advice here, humble yourself, find a master in any career choice you wish like DJ, Carpentery, Electrical house wiring, tilling floors plumbing etc. Serve him for at least one year. Can you point to please. Have been trying freelance. the last job I got, I was exploited. as in, I didn’t enjoy what I was paid considering I was overworked and I just went along because I didn’t want to get a negative reputation.

It's never too late,let him go and learn a short skill like driving,then work deligently to get into the transport business, that's the Surest n shortest route for him now,he can then take up from there.

Does he still have a brain? If yes, then its never too late to learn something. As long as he is not lazy everything is possible.
