National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has directed prospective candidates sitting for the exams above who have registered for NIN to visit the commission’s center to update their data.

According to the statement released on the commission’s social media page, these candidates are expected to visit NIMC centers to update their data

The statement reads: “To all 2024 WAEC, NECO, UTME prospective candidates: those that have done their NIN registration while below the age of 16 years old, and now above 16 years old should visit any NIMC Official Centres nearest to them and request for migration services.”

They are expected to go along with the following:

•NIN Slip
•Fresh SIM Card that has been registered.

Intending candidates should have it on their mind that any information given especially concerning their date of birth will remain indelible for life.

They can't come on faceless fora asking how to go about correcting a mistake they make today.

This people don't know the torture that average Nigerias face when going to NIN office.

This country has totally lost it. NIN is now being touted by some people who seize the opportunity to collect money from prospective applicants especially this children writing these exams. My experience was that my child and kept going there everyday for like 2 weeks.
