Pls I'm having an issue with my gen, it was running and not giving out power so I called a generator engineer that worked it by changing capacitor, but the capacitor he changed from my gen was black and flat but the one he replaced was white and cylinder-like
The generator has been working fine since then until now it's not charging my phone, my phone will just keeps shaking and even stop charging, however everything else I plug works even my tv but it just doesn't charge my phones.
Note the chargers are working with normal NEPA light

Small elepaq gen, 1.3kw output. It charges my phone and everything before

though i am not a generator expert i do have knowledge of what a capacitor does in the electronic circuit. In this case the function of the capacitor is to smooth out the ripple output from the generator's coil into a real sign waves signal.
Your phone charger only recognizes an ac signal ( same as sign wave signal). The output from the generator sets might not be good ac signal enough for the charger to convert into a Dc signal at its output end where its is required for the charging of the phone.
The question on why is it working with TVs and other loads? The level of sensitivity of the phone adaptor and the other adaptors might not be the same.
My take is that the capacitor might not be the right specification of the original design or it might a bad capacitor too.
