I can not imagine someone fighting to get what he can not handle only to get it and fumble every aspect of it’s glory.

The problem is not the number of Police personnel. The problem is with the structure of policing. Even if they increase the number of Police, it will not change anything. The present centralised police structure is useless. There should be State Police that should not take orders from Abuja. There should also be Local Government Police that should not take orders from the State Governor.

Good start...take note of all the abandoned buildings in the country...allow 60-90 days for people to claim them or demolish them...then clear all the bushes and shanties...these will be great starts...then enter the forest and clear them in such a way that they are easily accessible, and can be monitored by drones.

We also need to sanitize our landlords on who they are renting to..get NIN, then Local Govt should create a database for landlords to put in information about their tenants or tenants will get clearance certificates that must be presented before being rented to. We have no clue whatsoever about those who live with us or dwell with us in Nigeria...locals or foreigners.

What happened to CCTV , advance technologies… the money they intended to spend on building and creating more divisions can better be used to upgrade our policing technologically

A city like Abuja isn't too large for absolute movement watch following investment on monitoring equipments and a control HQ, let alone focused watching only in certain areas like Bowari.

Instead of wasted energy and finances on manpower, patrols, emergency searches etc, Monitoring HQ personnel could simply sit back monitoring and identifying were undeterred kidnapers are headed so that police or military can later plan for and raid the place.
