MUFASA: THE LION KING
Mufasa: The Lion King is the prequel we've all been waiting for. If Disney messed this up, it might be as disastrous as Cats on the big screen. We're giving it a solid 5 out of 5 chance of being a massive hit. The storyline takes us back to the African savanna, where Rafiki shares the tale of Kiara's grandfather and the rise of one of the greatest Pride Lands kings, with colourful commentary from Timon and Pumbaa. Keep an eye out for it in theaters on December 20, 2024!

GLADIATOR 2
Gladiator 2, directed by Ridley Scott, is an upcoming epic historical drama. It's a sequel to the original Gladiator and features a star-studded cast including Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, and Derek Jacobi, with the last two reprising their roles. We're giving it a moderate 2.5 out of 5 in terms of expectations. Look for it in theaters on November 22nd.

DEADPOOL 3
The superhero genre seems to be failing badly in cinemas lately, and although we all love Deadpool, we're still giving this a 3 out of 5 chance. We talked about the plot of this film in our previous article on the TV and film lounge. We've also added some hidden gems to expect in the movie. Don't forget to check it out.

VENOM 3
There's an upcoming sequel to Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and it's all about our favourite Marvel character, Venom. It's set to hit theaters on November 8, 2024. Our initial rating is a cautious 1.5 out of 5. However, if there's a collaboration between Spider- Man and Venom, we're a bit more optimistic, giving it a 3 out of 5.

BAD BOY 4
So, there's an untitled fourth Bad Boys film on the horizon, set to be a buddy cop action comedy directed by Adil & Bilall. Following Bad Boys for Life, it's the fourth installment in the Bad Boys series and is hitting theaters on June 14. We're not overly optimistic, giving it a 1.5 out of 5, but hey, we still can't resist catching it on the big screen. Can't pass up a chance to see those Bad Boys in action!
