GEJ won the election but abdicated office due to FEAR! A Babangida or an Obasanjo would not have done so. We all know that Kano, Katsina and Bornu results were FAKE.

See I admit that things went very bad with government after him but he himself was just to gentle to rule Nigeria. He ought to have removed subsidy during his time as the right thing but he couldn't even stand his ground as Tinubu is doing. Yes, a lot of people opposed but it's same now too but a leader should know better. Moreso, There were too many corruption going on around him that he couldn't control. Those people that sorounded him were too powerful for him. Besides, he was only handpicked to be president. So the will power wasn't there. That's what made Nigeria to desire just anything else other than him. Quite unfortunate.
