On the contrary, I didn't used to feel bad.
The day I started feeling bad, was the period I stopped.
I came from a Christ Embassy background, where Pst Chris had said Masturbation is not a sin.
It probably isn't, but it's a bad habit, that becomes addictive...and you don't want to be powerless against your own will. The Bible advocates self control and discipline.

I disagree on not feeling bad part. While it is important to have strong reasons which motivates you to quit masturbation, feeling bad about the act itself even helps you to search for those reasons.
