Leviticus 25:44-46
44 Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves.
45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property.
46 You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.

Hiss! All these additions and subtractions to the Bible Is what I don't get at all.This is exactly why pulpit bandits will continue to prey on the intelligence of religious fools, unless people learn to study the Bible by themselves and understand the Word, without any form of interpretation from anybody.
Because so called Bible teachers have this tendency to misquote,misinterpret the Bible passages.
For me,I have long since learnt to read the Bible on my own.That has enabled me greatly to fish out misinterpretation of the Passages in churches I have attended ( those nonsense Pentecostal churches).
