Oyinbo Man was sighted speaking Hausa fluently in Kano. This is not strange if you are in Kano or Kaduna. You will easily come across Oyinbo Men and Women who speak Hausa fluently.

Some of them have adopted Northern cultures too. By putting on Northern traditional clothes and eating Northern traditional food.

I speak English fluently for Americana land yet nobody has come to praise me. Let us continue to worship oyinbo man with our enslaved mentality.

Way back in the 15th century, the Portuguese came to Nigeria, and had to learn the indigenous languages to conduct trade in brass, copper and ivory works.

In fact, Oba Esigie was the first Benin King to speak Portuguese. He learned it to foster relations between the Benin Empire and Portuguese Kingdom and heaven did not fall.

Oyinbo man learning our language is not an achievement.

Because we forget how great we once were, we can never know how great we can be.

Abegi.

Have you not seen the reaction of a Chinese or Indian person when they see a black person speaking mandarin or Hindi? Pride and excitement.

Africans react no differently when they see a foreigner learning their language because african languages are not that popular or easy to learn because there aren't alot of resources dedicated to them vs French or Portuguese.

Learning a new language is always an achievement.

They are lebanese. They are everywhere in Kano. Their grand fathers migrated to Nigeria, and both they and their fathers were born in Nigeria.

There happen to be several generations of Lebanese people that were born and raised in Kano. These Nigerian-born people of Lebanese ancestry all speak Hausa with the natural fluency one would expect of a native speaker steeped not only in the language but also in the cultural mores of the area.

This is a National news? Inferiority complex dey worry our people honestly.

Nigerians live in several non-English speaking countries all over the world. Italy, France, Germany, Spain, etc.

I have never seen videos of Oyinbos rejoicing because we or any other black man speaks their language fluently.
