Beige Africa holds executive business, finance retreat

To educate finance enthusiasts and provide guidance in navigating the highly volatile world of business and corporate finance, Beige Africa kicked off the year with the much-anticipated Executive Business and Finance Retreat.

The event which focused on vision boarding, business review and planning, corporate financial planning, and investments, took place on Saturday, January 21st, 2024, at the World Trade Center in Abuja.


Positioning itself as a potential disruptor in the mainstream business and finance world, Beige Africa diligently pursues its audacious target of producing 100 USD millionaires in 54 African countries by 2043.

Achieving this ambitious goal requires extensive education and guidance, particularly for the often-overlooked millennials and mid-income earners in finance.

The retreat by Beige Africa brought together industry leaders, experts, and finance enthusiasts for an immersive experience that surpassed the initially planned capacity.

Mr. Wisdom Ating, Co-founder of Beige Africa, brought his core expertise in business and brand strategy, corporate leadership, and management to the forefront. During the retreat, he delivered an insightful session on business development, drawing upon his well-established track record of collaborating with foreign and local brands, generating over $8 million in sales revenue.

Leveraging half a decade of experience as an investment analyst across diverse sectors and functioning directly in the day to day for teams managing assets exceeding a hundred billion naira, Mr. Louis Akpoveso, Chief Executive Officer at Beige Africa, shared a knowledge-packed session on financial planning and investments for both businesses and individuals. His presentation delved into the intricacies of the financial markets.

Other speakers included HR personnel and the CEO of Xpedient Services, Mrs. Bukola Maiye, who addressed the challenges of business planning and talent optimization. Leveraging her 19+ years of experience in diverse sectors, including finance, education, and non-governmental positions, she provided valuable insights.

To conclude the event, Mrs. Mina Obetan, a tech lawyer, public relations professional, and founder of E-Lawyer, imparted her teachings on vision boarding and setting organizational goals. The attendees gained valuable insights and had the opportunity to network with industry experts, exchanging ideas.
