Character is the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. There are two types of character; Good and Bad character.

Attributes of People with Good character includes;
1. Honesty
2. Kindness
3. Empathetic
4. Integrity
5. Reliable

Attributes of People with Bad character incudes;
1. Arrogance
2. Selfish
3. Disrespectful
4. Dishonest

There's an adage in Yoruba that says " Ile lati keso rode which translates to "Charity begins at home". Building a child character and good conduct in the society starts from the parent as they are the First institution responsible for training a child/children but when the parents fail in raising their children properly the parent will bear the shame and disgrace such children bring to them. You can easily tell if a child is well brought up by their acts and conducts. Many parents bad mouth other people in the presence of their children and children pick up both good and bad traits from their parents. Samuel was brought up in the Lord, his mum trained him well while prophet Eli overlooked his own children bad ways and behavior. Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the Lord” (1 Sam. 2:12). You can read 1st Samuel 2:12-36 for further understanding on Samuel conduct and misconduct.

If you're the one with a extremely bad character change before God will hand you over completely for judgement. Change that bad character to good one cause one day you'll wish you change but it'll be too late. Many people are crying today over their refusal to change their character. Bad character chase away destiny helpers.
