We saw Nigerians tearing and damaging their passports after the presidential elections some months ago in anger. And there's something similar about many Nigerians leaving the country and those still researching where to immigrate to. They're obviously not broke or generally unemployed or underemployed, at least according to Nigerian standard. Many have more savings than a majority of Americans, trust me I have done the research.

But Nigeria will never ever be developed and will always fluctuate in a static as long as the skilled professionals and so-called middle class keep running away from the country. And according to American statistics Nigerian immigrants are among the most successful and also educated.

These people do not also leave or want to leave the country because they're particularly doing very bad. MANY NIGERIANS RELOCATE OUT OF THE COUNTRY AS A FORM OF PROTEST

Instead of staying back and forcing change, and being the change themselves, joining and supporting unions and having a principle and moral fortitude to enact incorruptiblity they instead flee the country and hope the rest still left behind do the changing.

FLEEING THE COUNTRY AS A FORM OF PROTEST is not honorable or wise, it is not a "power move". It is a result of a decaying society, weak and cowardice action which still manifests itself in the countries they relocate to, which is showcased by the weak Nigerian passport and the many restrictions, embargoes and harassments on Nigerian travellers and Nationals.

There are no coincidences that a country is led by the people who represent them, no shallow and corrupt country will magically have upright and selfless visionary leaders. Leaders are only a reflection of the general population and they show their true selves even abroad.
