LAGOS, Nigeria – Inter Lagos FC, the embodiment of Nigerian football excellence and Lagos’ community spirit, has ignited a fervent movement for local football with its resounding vision for unity and growth through sustainable sporting initiatives. The club's press launch, held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Raddison Blu Hotel in Victoria Island, left attendees from the local and African sports media inspired by its ambitious mission.

Led by the visionary leadership of Lanre Vigo, Co-founder and CEO, Inter Lagos FC showcased its commitment to setting a new standard in football administration. Supported by a team of high-achievers including Olumide Fayankin, Director & Co-founder; Gatumi Aliyu, Director & Co-founder; Oluwatosin Fashoyin, Chief Operating Officer; Gabriel Adigwe, General Manager, and Gabriel Ezema, the team's head coach, the club unveiled its dynamic approach to growth and on-the-field execution.

Addressing the media on the questions regarding the club's purpose, Lanre Vigo emphasised, “Our commitment extends far beyond the pitch. We envision Inter Lagos FC not only as a powerhouse in football, but as a beacon of inspiration for our players, moulding them into exemplary individuals who will positively impact society. As we strive for excellence in every match, our ultimate goal is to create a legacy of integrity, resilience, and community engagement, serving as a guiding light for young football enthusiasts across Africa.”

Funding is required to for its functioning.
Eko United could have been more presentable than Inter-Lagos FC. I was awaiting the launching of Inter-Anambra FC or inter Oshogbo FC and not inter Lagos

Lagos Centre Of Excellence!

What is excellent about a metropolis that Tinubu’s master plan failed to deliver water in every building despite his years in Chicago

Who equates a glorified ghetto to a modern centre of excellence? Who does that, except someone in need of a shrink?

itubaba001:
Lagos, the commercial hub of Nigeria, has been ranking as one of the worst places to live in the world for the nine straight years, a BusinessDay analysis shows.

Data from the 2019 Global Liveability Index published by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the world’s leader in global business intelligence, shows the city has been within the range of 137th-139th position out of a total of 140 cities in the world from year 2011-2019.

The EIU examines the quality of health care, education, infrastructure, stability, and culture when assessing living conditions of each city. More than 30 factors are taken into account when calculating each rank, which are then complied into a weighted score between one and 100.

Where were you when the so-called founders were looking for partners to hatch the idea of the football club?

Poor thing making noise!

In your warped tribal mind, you are more intelligent than them right?
