I have been using GOTV for about 4 years now, and I have come to notice one common 419 trend with them.

Usually, I subscribe for the Gotv Max package, which now cost 7,500 naira. The reason is, I'm a Juventus die-hard fan and I love the Italian serie a like mad.

Unfortunately, after each subscription, I noticed that most of the channels, which ought to be 70 plus just go missing. The worst part is that all the sports channels just disappeared without a trace. At first, I thought this was due to bad network. But, I later noticed that, once it is time for some big matches like the ungoing nations cup, the channel frequency for those matches would suddenly stop showing and saying error in connection, while the remaining useless ones like TVC and Islam channels shows like DVD.

This has been going on for many years now but it has become so obvious and annoying and so frustrating knowing there is nothing you can do about it. I don't blame NCC.

Just imagine I paid 7,500 4 days back to watch the Afcon match between Nigeria and Angola. But none of those sports stations that was supposed to be in the package were present for viewing, not even when I rescan it multiple times. It just turned up the useless stations only.

I can't even watch Inter vs Juventus match today Sunday despite buying fuel of 2000 naira and hoping to watch it because the signal strength and quality was so powerful. Regrettably, I'm disappointed again. GOTV is a thief, and after this month expired, I will pack it up for good. Meanwhile, for the money they took from me without rendering the service they pledged to provide, God will judge them.

Guy, I did reset more than ten times already, and the channels for the sports and movies stuff just don't show up. GOTV is a scam.

Of course, they're cheating people. As those channels don't show up for the package you paid for, they get to pay less for using those stations. I understand the logic now. They're thieves.

NCC is a disappointment to this nation. GOTV and DSTV will not try this nonsense in South Africa, let alone elsewhere, and go scot-free with it.

Not at all. But you will need strong Internet to watch it. It is an app that enables you watch any tv at all.

Stop using them. I stopped using them last December. They called but I called them off. I don't enjoy their service again.
