It uses microstructures with colour particles that can move and display different colours by applying different voltages.

Users can also personalize their phone's back cover by displaying time, mood, and other features in a matrix arrangement.

This technology is called E-Color Shift and it won the Omdia Innovation Award at ShowStoppers CES 2024.
