The scripture says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

In our day to day activities, there are certain things we are afraid of doing because we know the consequences.

For instance, a driver is afraid of breaking traffic rules especially in Lagos because he knows the consequences.

Ironically, a lot of people have never taught of the consequences of ignoring the free gift of salvation offered on the platform of grace because of the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross of Calvary.

But the rejection of Christ has consequences. Jesus himself warned;

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Who is he that can destroy body and soul in hell? Jesus of course.

In other words, he says accept this free gift of salvation or be ready for destruction. So many are playing light on that warning. But it is true. And so many who are dead are already in hell weeping and gnashing their teeth.

Why are you taking a very foolish risk? Death can occur at any time. If you die without knowing Jesus, you will burn forever in hell.

If the devil couldn't stop Jesus from rising from the dead, he sure can't stop him from executing his judgment.

On the day Christ will be revealed, the scripture says that great men will call for rocks to fall on them. Revelation 6:15-17 This is how dreadful Jesus is. Fear him and accept him now as your Lord and Savior.

Jesus is the one appointed to judge the dead and the living. Think about the day you will stand before Jesus and your name is not in the book of Life.

No excuse will hold water. I was born into so and so religion will not save you.

My father and mother are Bishop and Deaconess respectively will not save you.

I have been baptized by water will not save you.

I am the Pastor of the largest church in my city is not a guarantee to make heaven.

Please, accept Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. Then walk in the light of God's word, especially in love towards the brethren.

Fear Jesus and live by his word.

If you reject Jesus, it means you have accepted Satan. This means that you will spend eternity with Satan in the Lake of fire. So repent before it's too late.

All the pleasures that this life was to offer is designed to lure you to hell. Stop for a moment and think about where your soul will go to after death.

Salvation is in Christ alone.
