The Vice-Chancellor of Maduka University, Charles Ogbulogo seek better and more quality qualifications than first-class. A hope for candidates with other Cumulative Grades.

The Vice Chancellor of Maduka University, Prof. Charles Ogbulogo in an interview with MySchoolNews TV has revealed that he is not interested in first-class students.

Ogbulogo recounted his ordeals with first-class graduates who came to seek for job opportunities from the university only to be disappointed by the outcome. In his words,
“I am not interested in your first-class, there are people who have made first class, they come here and after one assignment, they run away because they can't fix it... There are a lot of people by defence who have certificate, diplomas but we are not looking for them. We are looking for those who have things to contribute. I am eager to hire those who have something to contribute”, he said.

Adding to this, the one time Deputy Vice Chancellor of Covenant university disclosed that vacancies are still open to qualified individuals who are willing to be disciplined and give nothing but quality.

“Here we're talking about intentionality, we cannot take it if you say you have a class for 9am and you are not there by 9am. Where else will you be? So that strict management is what we're talking about. Quality is a function of inputs. If you give nothing you harvest nothing”, Ogbulogo said.

People with no First Class Degree are very quick to shit on people with a First Class Degree.

They assume First Class graduates must know EVERYTHING under the sun. When they don't, they point and shame them.

They talk about 3rd class graduates that have achieved great success. But they never talk about the First Class graduate that have achieved even GREATER success because it's expected. They don't talk about the 3rd class graduates that have been working jobs of #10k/month for the past 5 years.

For instance, you can tell this VC is NOT a First Class graduate.

Imagine wailing about NOT being interested in First Class degrees then citing an example that points to PUNCTUALITY.

Like how the fuccck does First Class and punctuality relate to each other if not because of envy and bitterness he has against First Class graduates.

First Class graduates out there, hold your heads up even if you're still struggling to succeed after graduation. You ALREADY have something this VC doesn't. grin

Bottom line: Parents should encourage their children to graduate with Third Class. In fact, a law should be passed by the NA that no child should get First Position in class going forward- same should apply to all our colleges of higher education. Anuofia VC!

You keep carrying first class on your head till hunger will finish you. First class is like a woman's beauty that does not guarantee dream marriage.

In every First class that couldn't or hasn't made it yet, there are thousands of 3rd class that can only dream of making it.

I hate it when people talk down on first class. Most First class are brilliant, well rounded.
They think what they know as 2nd class or 3rd class that a first class doesn't know it.

My philosophy in life is; whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. Anywhere you find yourself do your very best. Don't be a mediocre!
