The federal government has ordered the immediate release of 102000 metric tonnes of rice,maize to Nigerian markets.
Likewise, also disclosed embarking on further imports to augment supplies.

The decision followed a series of deliberation by the committee, in reactions to the protest by Nigerian over high costs of living,food and other economic challenges.
