Federal Government should pay the loans owed by nigerians to verified digital loan apps such as fair money, New egde, branch etc at a maximum of #50k per citizen.

This way, part of the frustration been face by Nigeriana will be REDUCED.

Instead of complaining and crying I am suggesting ways our present economic predicaments can be reduced

Pay your bills you bums. If you can't that's OK just expect higher rates or future rejections. It's not like there's debtor prisons for not repaying the loans. They company will eat their loss if they made an unsecured loan.

Stop making assumptions; It makes you come through as a person who lacks the ability to reason critically.
What has being agbero got to do with what is being discussed here? How would you know if I was one of your secondary school teachers?
I haven't stepped on the shore of Nigeria in the past two years, and I have been working and living in Europe for over twenty.
I want to assume you were in nappies when I relocated from Nigeria.
Who are the people whose debts were forgiven in the USA? Who was the lender? Some loan apps?

You made a good point, but you are not exactly right.
Joe Biden didn't clear debts for people borrowing from banks and loan apps.
It was debt forgiveness for some people who took student loans from the US federal government.
The loans were paused since 2019 following covid. The only category of people that benefitted were the Teachers and Social workers.
In June 2023, the US Supreme Court stopped Joe Biden from offering further student loan forgiveness because he doesn't have power to do so.
I don't understand why anyone would expect the government to help them pay personal loans.
Student loans in the US are payable up to 5% of their discretionary income.
Thanks for your intelligent contribution to nairaland. Most people here are idiots.
