I’m an active nairalander but I don’t know why I can’t even access my account. I registered this new one to tell my sad experience yesterday cos I am still in pain and can’t wait till I can access my account.

Yesterday was my colleague’s wedding but on Friday, I already told someone that I won’t be able to attend because I had just #1,100 which I will have to manage for taxi for 3days. My place to office is just #300 daily. The man I told promised to help me since he will drive pass my street and will also take me back home.

After the party, this man forgot me and left 😳 I called him but he was just apologizing that he totally forgot and I said, no problem sir. From the event center, I decided to take bike home. The first guy I saw was an aboki guy so he charged me #400. While moving, I was already calculating...in fact, I calculated till I got home. My head was so full.

On getting to our gate, I saw my landlord coming with bag of pure water so I decided to collect it from the old man as Omoluabi and I gave the aboki guy 1k to get me change (worst and stupid move ever) while I rushed to collect the bag from my landlord. The moment I gave him the 1k, this guy turned and sped off 😳 I shocked 😳 aboki guys I used to think they have integrity? As in, landlord and myself couldn’t do anything but just watching.

This guy ran away with my 1k oo. Sleep no gree come, how will I get to office? In this present situation where things are so hard. Aboki robbed me my hard earned 1k in my own state...as in, I’m still in shock.

My people, there’s hunger in the land ooo...be smart always. But as for that aboki ooo... ikú tó ma pá nì yen.

No Nigerian can be trusted.

Every Nigerian is a criminal. If you know a honest Nigerian, you DON'T! You just haven't discovered his niche in the crime industry yet.

Sorry about your ordeal.

Trust no one in this country.

Call that Uncle that drives past your place to the party.

He should be able to drive pass your way to the work.

You could plead with him to help you for three days

There is no different from being employed and unemployed because if you are employ,90% of your salary goes to transportation, and utilities leaving you with nothing.Everybody wan just commot for house to avoid being called a lazy man.

Most people living like this would be better off in their villages, farming. But no, we all wanna live in the city cheesy

99% of those abokis should be farmhands instead of revving around on okada causing accidents and committing crimes...and they are the most insolent, most disgruntled creatures you can ever have the misfortune to interact with, as if it's anyone's fault their leaders made them poor/illiterate

Your topic should have been " Some Nigerians.....", not " Nigerians are....".
Don't generalise bros! What you did to your landlord was an act of goodness but the Aboki was wicked and you are all Nigerians.

They are everywhere committing crimes. I think Nigeria govt. should ban the use of covering their faces. If I see this guy now, I can’t recognize him.

Who and you is begging? I narrated my experience doesn’t mean I am begging for assistance. I’m a Police officer (a corporal) serving at Eleyele, Ibadan. Please, I’m not a beggar. I’m broke because my wife just gave birth.
