Circumstantial condition made me to conditioned my mind to learn how to drive a car when I have a personal car. Shockingly, the car varnished even before I could finish learning how to drive it. Life is a roller-coaster filled with ups & downs, it is much better to strive to enjoy the ride of life despite any circumstantial conditioning.

So, on this particular day we went to the Government Primary School’s football field inside Magodo Shangisha, Lagos, so I can use the football field to learn driving a car. Coincidentally, on getting inside the primary school, I saw Victor Osimhen with his friends having a light football training session. I thought to approach him to exchange pleasantries. At that time, he returned from France to Nigeria for his late father’s burial. He just signed the contract with Napoli then, Lille, his former club provided him with a private jet to come to Nigeria so as to plan for his father’s funeral. So, as I approached him at the field, the first thing I did was to express my condolence to him about his father’s demise. That gave my brief meeting with him a sense of familiarity & cordiality. I said to him “So sorry about your father’s demise, there is fulfilment in the fact that your father experienced and tested the early part of your football career’s glory, please don’t feel down by the harsh reality that it means you are now an orphan because you also lost your mother at a tender age, please transpose this painful experience as fuel to propel you for a greater height & glory “and he smiled and said “Thank You so much brother “.

Then I turned to his friends who were seated on a picnic mat enjoying assorted wines, assorted biscuits & short cakes beside the 2 brand new Mercedes GLS SUV they came with, I told them that it is a good thing to be happy for their friend, Victor, and by the special grace of God their own destiny will also find expressions in due season. They all laughed and shouted Amen, Pastor. This conviviality & camaraderie gave our brief meeting a sense of warm reception.

I had turned back to leave them and say good bye, but I recalled that as a certified marketing professional from the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK, it is professionally ethical to request for a photograph with Victor & he obliged.

I choose to have the photograph away from his Mercedes GLS SUV so as to deemphasize a need for luxurious ostentation as a basis for human classification because we are first of all humans before wealth caused a differentiation & stratification.

Prior to meeting Victor on that day, a group of men had approached him in that football field, he was generous to them by giving them ten thousand naira each. Upon observing that from a distance, with the level of my awareness, I am not willing to meet a Victor, with a well-known net worth and be begging for a ten thousand naira. I will rather present a business proposal to him for a venture such as establishing a plantain plantation with a plantain flour mill processing factory where the plantain flour can also be exported to Italy, well packed in a branded package printed with his signature mask identity.

Investment & profitability are the sure factors that sustains wealth because wealth is not constant. Wealth fluctuates by current realities.

Usually, high net-worth persons appreciate persons who communicate value to them instead to being beggarly.
