7 KILLERS OF PROGRESS
{Why People Don't Progress}
It should be noted that it is the plan of God to promote and move man from one level to a higher one. From one realm to another. Stagnation is never the plan of God for you. Though it may tarry, but it'll surely happen.
Abraham was first called out, then unto promises and then unto fulfillment.
Every aspect of Life is wired and designed in dimensions and levels. Life is a progression, if properly maintained.
But unfortunately, Man has allowed himself to be barred and hindered; by falling into the trap of the devil through the following:
*1. OUR SELF-ORIENTED WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE: Men are now too wise to allow God in their dealings. We depend now on analysis based on our understanding and not God's plan any longer. {Rom. 1:28, Pro. 16:3; 3:5}*
*2. WICKEDNESS {Isaiah 57:21; 48:22} There's no peace, says my God for the wicked.*
*3. SELFISHNESS & SELF CENTREDNESS: When all your thinking and actions revolves around you and you alone, then you are in trouble. {Pro. 11:24, 2 Cor 8:6-7}
*4. PRIDE: You are already fighting two Forces that you can't win, if you are proud: 'God' and 'Devil'. God will resist and repel you because of your pride; whereas, the Devil will happily welcome you into his abode to receive some whippings. {Psalms 5:5, James 4:6, Pro. 16:5; 21:3-4; 3:34}
*5. CARNAL MIND: Listen! Your flesh will always be hungry and will want you to satisfy all its desire and yearnings. BUT BE INFORMED! To be carnally minded is death! Carnal mind births sin in its different kinds, and sin in turn births death. {1 Sam. 15:9-11, James 4:4, 1 John 2:15-17, 1 Tim. 5:6}
*6. FEAR: Fear will kill you before that rumoured event come. The Devil will gain access into your life and impede your progress if you entertain fear. { Gen.15:1, Exo.14:10-12, Num. 13:25-33, 1 Tim. 1:7}
7. UNSTABLE NATURE: You're supposed to be Jacob, but you claim to be Esau. It will cost you a whole lot of your valuable times and season. Even Jesus said that he will spit you out. {Rev. 3:15-16, Gen. 49:4}
BE CAUTIOUS OF THESE SEVEN THINGS. DON'T FALL VICTIM OF ANY OF THEM! THEN YOUR PROGRESS IN 2024 WILL NOT BE IMPEDED!
