One character of God that is way far above that of his creation is his faithfulness.. Deuteronomy 7:9.

We all yearn for someone who is trustworthy and dependable that we can rely on, but it is very difficult to find such a one. Your parents, spouse, friends, pastor , etc can make you a promiseand brake it at the long long due to unforeseen circumstances. Not that they planned to fill you but because they do not have the ability to know the future but God knows the end of all things from the beginning. Isaiah 46 : 9-10.

But one thing we should know is that, it is important to know that what you believe is God's promise to you should be what it is. You might have a dream, or a sign that God has spoken to you about something, and you hold onto it as God promise to you about something and at times when that thing never happens we begin to question the word of God that says ' God is faithful and a promise keeper. But instead of you to start grumbling and doubting God, it is better you doubt your thoughts which lead you to the conviction that God made you that promise instead because if it is God it will surely have happened to the last letter.

This brings us to the point that God speaks to his people and not just anyone, so when a perceived God's promise to you failed, instead of doubting God's word, you should rather go back and access your relationship with God, ask yourself yourself if you are really a child of God, of course we are all God's children, but his real people that he speaks and relate more clearly are those who love him and are striving to obey his commandments. So if you are not in this category you need to establish a relationship with God first the you can hear him when he speaks and not end up in confusion.

The first step of becoming a child of God is to pray for the gift of the holy spirit, it is the spirit of God,not your pastor, G.O, father or mother that will bear witness with your spirit that you are a child of God. Rom 8:16-18

When you might have received the spirit of God, you will know because the sport will bear fruit in you. Gal 5:22-26. When you start exhibiting the fruit of the spirit freely the you will be sure that the spirit of God dwells in you and you are now s child of God and capable to hear from him and not mistake your thoughts to his voice .
