How people thought that a drug dealer with penchant for self aggrandisement will rig an election only to turn around and make life easy for the masses amaze me a great deal.

Why are people crying. Wait for another 4 to 6months. The e-rats defending the policies of this government will be stoned by close friends and family members. Just wait. No need for argument

Na we wey dey diaspora this thing pain pass. We screamed, we begged, we explained that this man is a wrong choice...but they still chose tribalism and religion over competence.

I had to imagine that perhaps a miracle would happen and somehow the man will try to prove us wrong.

I'm not surprised but I don't pity those childhood friends and old school mates who voted him.

Make them chop their tribalism. Na our brother dey there.

Any govt would be faced with the same problems....else they want to keep borrowing.

Although it could have been one step at a time.

Even if subsidy return and we keep defending the naira against dollar as in past administration. Nigeria will still remain an hopeless place with high unemployment and no job like in past administrations.

We can not keep doing the same thing and expect different result, no pain no gain. We must endure this policy for 4 years before thinking about reversing it.

Shut up joor

Assuming your Peter Obi was the one voted in and he didn't remove subsidy or float the naira, where would he get the billion to keep defending the naira when Nigeria is in so much debts and dwindling crude Oil revenues ?

How would he get the revenue to do critical projects and build infrastructures when he is still paying subsidy and still using billion to defend the naira every day ?

The subsidy and naira defending that Obasanjo, Jonathan and Buhari did for you what did you guys achieve with it ? Unemployment and poverty was still very high.

Don't worry. Keep running your mouth and mentioning Peter Obi who just gave 20million to a nursing school yesterday.

In another 2 years let's see wether your mouth will still be running

Tinubu did not win! He is in Aso Rock now because he got the highest number of votes but because Bubu instructed Mahmmud to rig him in and the judiciary ratified it so stop blaming Nigerians

Put in a competent man with integrity like Peter Obi and he'll get the job done. You cannot keep riggin in empty vessels like Buhari and Tinubu and expect progress. Something cannot come out of nothing

Your understanding of the economic situations of Nigeria is shallow and tinted with tribalism.

There is no easy way out.

The capacity to sustain importation will reduce and most people won't be able to afford imported items.

Nigerians should go back to productions of ANYTHING they can e.g goats, maize, garments , granites, wooden planks, Cocoa, Furniture etc.

Increase export business.

The wealth made by export of crude oil since 1973 is no longer enough to sustain our lifestyles.

You didn't say anything related to economic issues.

How will Peter Obi manufacture Billions of dollars to keep defending the Naira and pay for fuel subsidy?

He donated N800,000,000 of his own funds to the campaigns and you think it's Campaign funds he'll mess around with?

When Peter Obi was about to hand over as Anambra State Governor, he invited the ICPC and EFCC to audit the State accounts.

Chairman of Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC); Chairman of a top-tier Bank; 2-Term State Governor; & Economic Adviser without a corruption case?

By moving the economy from consumption to production.

By fighting corruption in public offices to the barest minimum

By drastically reducing the insecurity across yhe country

His global reputation will attract foreign direct investment

By engaging the public frequently and carrying every part of the country along.

He has precedence for these things

All these are mere rheotorics.

Economics talks in numbers. You don't know what you are saying.

How much did Nigeria spend on importation of petroleum products, wheat, automobiles, medications?

What is the total export of Nigeria?

You're looking at output measures but the inprocess measures determines the outputs!

When Obi says the rule of law is one of the greatest assets of a country, you'd think its crude oil. There are some countries with huge investment by virtue of their solid judicial system.

Another great asset is human capital and thats the difference between South Korea with zero natural resources and Nigeria with all the resources you can think of

This is why efforts is being made to tackle insecurity including amending the laws to allow State Police so that each State can protect itself
