I met my wife online about 8 years ago. While some people I know we're scamming and doing 419 to people they met on dating apps, I was doing the opposite. Seeking for genuine love and a means to japa from naija.

Anyway we met while she was in her first year for a master's degree while I was in my final year for bachelor's degree. We chatted and became friends for over a year which later turned to lovey lovey. While I was studying I was a car dealer. Let me talk true, I was an agent selling cars, naija used, toks and new.

Anyway when my babe got her master's degree, I had already graduated and had time on my hands and worked harder. I had never had a complete million naira in my account and I made up my mind to see a million or more in my account just to feel "rich".

Babe say it's time to meet in person, I told her it was worth trying to apply for a visa to her country cos I won't get it and she should come that I will pay for her flight as my own gift to her for graduating. She got excited and agreed to come na so I applied for dollar card in one of these top naija banks. Dollar was less than 200 naira then. I sent her a the card and when she said she has the card, I bought dollars worth 800k and paid it to the account. All my friends said mugu don catch maga. I defended my actions but actually cold catch me inside.

Long story short, naija embassy denied her visa twice. Someone with a passport that can enter 190 countries visa free was denied visa. I searched for the Nigerian ambassador in Poland on Facebook, added him as a friend and he accepted. As soon as I saw he accepted, I sent a PM telling him who I was and that my babe was denied visa twice and why. Oga blocked me sharply lol. Babe missed her flight because no visa and because the ticket was a promo and nob refundable, we were refunded only the tax that was paid. Babe cried and I told her not to worry, shebi na money wey I no thief, I will make another. Babe said no that she will ask her parents to give me my money back and make we break up that this LDR won't work because of visa issues

I then remembered I had a friend in Nigerian immigration and asked for advice. He said I should have applied for visa on arrival. Omo I doubled my hustle, did car sales agency and enter real estate agency. The first successful deal I did was the sale of a land in one of these private estates in Lekki due to my experience using social media to market. We were just two agents and shared 4m. Na so maga me change dollars (1.5m) and paid to my dollar card, told babe to go ATM to check the balance shey I get surprise.

Babe was happy when she saw the money, told her to use some for herself and keep enough for her ticket. I called my immigration friend and he said let her buy the ticket and enter plane without visa that he would meet her at the point of entry in the airport.

Anyway everything got to plan, she came we got married and relocated to her country.

I didn't get a job on time but God in his infinite mercies got me a job in an audit company that pays good. I referred my wife because she had a shit shop assistant job, don't ask me why she worked in a shop.

She got the job and after maybe 6 months I lost mine because my manager got changed and new one didn't like me.

Babe started doing anyhow. Telling me I was dumb that's why I lost my job etc. Omo I cried in the bathroom because I was too manly wo cry in front of anyone. Few months later, I got another job, baba God no dey ever fail. This job paid more than double of what I made, babe said I shouldn't accept the offer because the contract wasn't a permanent contract and the tax was high with no pension. I didn't listen to her and I have been enjoying the job, creating my own pension by buying a land and now slowing building block of flats in Lekki.


After that, we have been arguing and arguing. It's too long and depressing to talk the fights and issues we have. I will say a bit. We have two daughters and she doesn't think it's necessary for girls to bath daily so I have to do the bathing. Her parents usually come to visit and stay a week and would only bath once after three or four days here and won't bath again till they go. She doesn't cook. She's disrespectful and sarcastic. She's lazy and eats too much, she has doubled in weight....

Val's day sha I didn't buy her shit. We have two kids, I picked them from school and we went to eat out then took them to a toy shop and bought them toys then went to cinema. I didn't want to go home because I wanted to spend time with people who truly love me.

I know she got jealous because she did the same today with the kids and I just dey look her. I already have my citizenship of her country so I can leave anytime but I don't want my kids to suffer. She no go cook or bath them and I won't get custody because regardless than I have their citizenship, I'm still a second class citizen here.
