Most of our prayer points in Africa are that we should be better than the next person.

This has created this weird satisfaction in us to feel good anytime we perceive that we are better than others.

Even our testimonies are often about how others have died and we have not. How others are not married, but we have. How you are the only one who is employed in a rich company while your friends are still searching for jobs.

It is an "I am better than you" mentality.

Remind me of the prayers of Christians when Tinubu crookedly took over office in Nigeria?

"This administration will favour me and my family."

That was the prayer point among our so-called Christians.

So, they tell you to claim it. Meaning that, for those who cannot claim it, nothing for them.

So, in Africa, what God seems to be doing is that he will pick a random person in a family or a class or group or tribe and bless the person. Then others will remain poor until God wakes up again another year to pick another person. The 'blessings' in Africa don't go round.

If you get this point, you will understand why people vote based on tribe or religion. Because for them, the person in the office is not expected to make the blessings go round but to restrict it to his tribal men and women.

If you get this point you will also understand why people in RCCG were shouting "Amen" to the prayers of Adeboye that all other Christian denominations will bow down to them.

They are all coming from the same mentality. And interestingly, a lot of you against Adeboye's prayers have prayed in the same way before only that you did not use the words "bow down".

As far as I am concerned, we are very far from the practice of true Christianity.

That's pure truth. On the day of Rapture,in a church auditorium filled with 2,900 members, only 100 souls would be transformed and caught up in the air to meet the Lord in His Kingdom.
With the high level of judgemental attitude, pride, arrogance, Superiority mentality among Christians today even among men of God,it is clear that most fervent Christians are bound for Hell.
If E A Adeboye can rubbish himself by making a stupid, insane declaration in his church to his members, that their colleagues would come to them to beg for food.
Don't be surprised that majority of all these popular " True" GOs don't have their names in the Book of Life.
Matthew 7:22-23 speaks volumes about the state of Christianity today.
