Government needs to do something about the skyrocketing prices of things esp food commodities. This food price inflation is giving rise to higher rate of crimes and vices in the land. Here in the north where I'm writing from, its no more surprising to hear of people stealing pots of foods on fire, nor of seeing married women and young girls competing to sell their bodies for peanuts just to have what to eat and survive for another day. I even fear that these otherwise decent ladies might even engage in indecency and prostitution during the forthcoming Ramadan season.
